Best apps/ movies to pass the time on a transatlantic flight for my iPad 2 please?

I have more than 1000 movies converted from DVD's so that I can watch them on a flight with my iPad. I suggest comedies like Blazing saddles, Airplane (I and II), and many comedies. Most often however, I download a series of podcasts and listen to them on the flight. I like listening to old radio shows where your mind made up the set and you can download many free on iTunes. Try Old time radio, CBS radio theater and so on. There are many mysteries, detective and drama shows. You also get involved in the story while keeping your eyes shut.
